ABUJA – The Nigerian Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative, NEITI, has rapped the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation’s method of paying itself subsidy for importation of petroleum products, before it remits monies from sale of domestic crude to the Federation account.

Hours after it published Governor Sullivan Chime as the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Enugu State, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Monday night, withdrew his name from the list of governorship candidates saying it was displayed in error.
