e-Sourcing portal launched in Nigeria

Nigeria’s premier Online B2B platform, an  e-strategy and sales advisory company, e-Sourcing has introduced online portal designed for Nigerian market to overcome challenges by delivering best -in-class sourcing and negotiation technology with strategy and access to a growing network of suppliers.

The eSourcing product which is already making inroad into the Nigerian market is a facilitator and negotiator  of tenders on a web-based platform.

Speaking to IT journalist last week in Lagos in press conference to unfold the features of the product, , the Country Manager of eSourcing, Bamitale Kelvin- Agono said that  the  platform is administrated by an impartial third-party company to ensure a fair process for both the suppliers.

“ basic, premium and professional packages provide companies with the capabilities to experience online sourcing and enjoy significant savings without s substantial commitment of time and resources . All packages are easy to use, require minimal tarining and offers quick return on investment. We recommend packages based on the size of the company, annual sourcing costs and the number of procurement and assocaite professionals that will use the product” she expalined.

According to her, strategic sourcing provides the single greatest opportunity to impact the cost, quality and performance of a company’s supply chain.

Several constraints including tightening of the supply markets, she said have kept many companies from achieving their full sourcing potential.

The online portal solution, she said enables companies of any industry, size, or geography to deliver fast, sustainable results across the sourcing life cycle

In terms of strategy formulation, Kelvin- Agono disclosed during her presentation that the product identify savings opportunities, assess market dynamics, and develop an informed sourcing lifecycle.
