Action Congress of Nigerian, ACN, chairman in Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta State, Mr. Amabiri Azorbo, has accused the state government of not living up to its campaign promises to the people of the area.
Azorbo, who addressed supporters of the party at Bomadi, headquarter of the council, yesterday, said that during the 2007 Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, campaign Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan promised the Bomadi people that if elected, before his hundred days in office, he would commence the construction of the Gbaregolor/ Esanma Bridge project and complete the Gbaregolor/ Ogriagbene Road project, adding that up till date, not even a pillar had been erected as a sign of construction work on site.
He the carpeted the Governor, describing him as man whose words cannot be trusted. He wondered what Uduaghan will tell the Bomadi people when he flags off his campaign for the April general elections.
He explained that majority of ACN members were once party faithful of the PDP, adding that they dumped the PDP for lack of transparency, unfulfilled promises and their undemocratic tendencies.
