Katsina govt pays N40.3m on Fadama programme
The Katsina State overnment has paid its N40.3 million counterpart fund for the Fadama III programme.Alhaji Magaji Abubakar, the state Coordinator of the programme, made this known on Monday in Katsina.
CLO condemns Jos killings
The Civil Liberties Organisation, CLO, has condemned the recent killing in Jos, the Plateau State capital, in which no fewer than 500 people lost their lives. The organisation’s Executive Director, Mr Ibuchukwu Ezike, said in a statement in Lagos, said “we received with intimidating shock, the news of resumed pogrom in Plateau state, few months after over 300 persons were murdered in cold blood in Josâ€.
