UGHELLI—DELTA State Technical Committee of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, yesterday, said Mr Sam Egwerome, erstwhile state chairman of the party has been expelled by the national caucus of the party for anti-party activities, alleging that he did not register at the ward level of the party.

The committee in a statement by its secretary, Mr Jaro Egbo, said, “the attention of State Technical Committee of ACN, has been drawn to unguided statement credited to one Mr Egwerome, the erstwhile chairman of the defunct Action Congress in Delta State, who has since been expelled by the national caucus of  ACN for anti-party activities.

“The said Mr. Egwrerome did not register in his ward as CAN member neither did he participate in the on going ward, local government area, state and national congresses.

“He is, therefore, not in a position to speak for or on behalf of ACN,” he added.
