Tegali beauty school, a training centre for those who wish to become professionals in hair styling and beauty has opened at the high brow Ikota Shopping Complex,VGC, Lagos.
The school which boasts of highly trained lecturers, cosmetologists, dermatologists and trichologists is run by Mrs Chinenye Mordi, a beautician and also the principal of the school.

According to Mrs Mordi, the school will provide the same standard as obtained in England. Indeed, we are masking arrangements to be accredited to the Carlton Beauty School in London and as you know, it is one of the best beauty schools in England.
Some of the other lecturers who will be teaching in the school include, renowned make-up artist Mr. Bayo Haastrup, who will be teaching make up with special emphasis on bridals and runway. Dr Vivian Oputa, will teach Non surgical facial treatment and skin care, Mrs Angela Oku Ajetunmobi, who is a trichologist, will treat natural hair treatment and how to make weave-ons and wigs amongst other topics.
Mrs Kate Emiko is expected to teach nutrition and fitness, while American trained —- will teach catwalk and runway—- for aspiring models.
According to Mrs Mordi, the courses range from 4 weeks, 6weeks, three months to six months and one year with an additional three months for practicals, internship and field work.
Admission for the short term courses is on going and runs through out the year.
This programme is designed for men and women who have a flair for beauty and all its works: inside and outside, graduates, school leavers, housewives even workers who can afford or create time (for weekend programmes) to acquire professional knowledge and skills in the beauty industry.
