LAGOS—In what seemed to be a minor cabinet shake up, Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State yesterday dropped two members of the state Executive Council.Â
The move is coming barely few months to the 2011 general election which has been scheduled to kick off in January.
The two members are Commissioner for Agriculture and Cooperatives Chief Enock Ajiboso and the Special; Adviser to the governor on the Environment Mr Sesan Olarenwaju.
Announcing the minor shake up late Monday evening, the Commissioner for Information and strategy, Mr. Opeyemi Bamidele who said the move had nothing to do with non performance added that that the sack takes immediate effect.
