SIX new Directors have been appointed by the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA)Â following their success in a recent competitive public service recruitment exercise.
The activity was conducted by the Human Resource Consulting Firm and Federal Civil Service Commission, Federal Character Commission, Federal Ministry of Health and Governing Board of the Agency.
A statement signed by Saâ€™adu Salahu Head, Public Relations Unit of the Agency stated thatÂ three new Directors from within the Agency include Dr. Emmanuel Adebayo Abanida as Director, Disease Control and Immunisation). Others areÂ Dr. Emmanuel Odu, Director, Planning Research and Statistics and Dr. Abdullahi Jibril Mohammed, Director, Primary Health Care System Department.
Directors appointed from outside the NPHCDA areÂ Dr. Ashogbon Duru Oluwa Daniel (Director Finance and Accounts); Mrs. Lami Aishatu Abubakar (Director Administration and Human Resources and Dr. (Mrs) Nnenna Ihebuzor (Director Community Health Services).
Governing Board of the Agency has ratified the appointments which take immediate effect. AbdulFatah Saâ€™ad, who before now, was in charge of Administration and Human Resources is now Director, Special Duties working directly in the office of the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Agency.
Congratulating the new Directors, Executive Director of the Agency, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate urged them to be change-agents brought on board to continue meaningfully towards sustaining the current corporate reputation, credibility and transparency of the current transformational NPHCDA leadership
