‘Sex and the City 2’, produced by Warners’ New Line unit, is coming to Lagos.
Starring Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda, the Fabulous Four, as the ladies are better known, takes another bite out of the Big Apple in the sequel to ‘Sex and the City’, the 2008 blockbuster.
It is now confirmed that ‘Sex and the City 2’, a summer movie, will be coming to Lagos screens this May and the release is packed with so much fun and activities.

There is a special night out with ‘Sex and the City 2’ release party to be hosted in Lagos on the 28th of May 2010. Prior to that is a date with VIPs and only invite guests are allowed. Dress code is black tie cocktail couture event to be hosted on the 27th of May.

The night out SATC2 release party promises to be a whole lot of fun, guests will be able to taste delicious SATC signature cosmopolitans cocktails on arrival. A night out with the girls await and as always allows on the indulgence of being immersed again in the wonderful world that is Sex and the City.

And to get into the spirit of the night, ladies are encouraged to dress as one of their favourite characters from the movie as this would get them the chance to win any of the many prizes on display on the night.

Mary Ephraim, MD/CEO of Okhma Global International, the marketing company handling the new movie said ,“ We expect to have so much fun as the platform will provide an opportunity for all lovers of the foursome to live their lives even for just a minute.”

Beyond that, the night will also have on parade many top Nigerian musicians and a special and renowned American R&B artiste at the party. The identity of the foreign artiste however remained a secret as the organisers plan to uncover him at the party as part of the night of excitement.

The first 500 tickets purchased for the night out with Sex and the City 2 release party tickets through designated cinemas will be amongst the first people around the world to get to see the movie on Thursday 27th May, before the rest of Lagos.
