Rimi: IGP Orders security beef up in Kano, Bauchi states
Following the death of renown politician, Alhaji Abubakar Rimi, from possible heart failure in the early hours of Easter Monday, as a fallout of an earlier armed robbery operation along the Bauchi-Kano road during which Rimi’s entourage and other travelers were waylaid, the Inspector General of Police, Ogbonna Onovo has ordered a security beef up in Kano and Bauchi states.
