Cross River State has declared Monday of every week a fasting day.
This was disclosed during this year’s first quartre Cross River Pray hosted by the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Cross River Province, with the theme “THE RAIN”.

The prayer event which was facilitated by the Church at Hephzibah Government House Calabar, featured ministration, praise/worship, word, exhortation and testimonies.

While speaking at the event, the governor of the state, Senator Liyel Imoke lauded the people of the State for their steadfastness and commitment to governance.

He assured that CROSS RIVER PRAY is prophetic and that he is optimistic that the “RAIN” of Goodness, Favour, and Faithfulness has started manifesting and urged the people to remain steadfast in their prayers growth of the State.
