Rangers: Board members contribute money to run club

It’s unbelievable but true. Premier League side Rangers of Enugu is currently being run with financial contributions from board members.

An inside source revealed to Inside The Glo Premier League that Governor Sullivan Chime of Enugu has released fund for the club but the bureaucratic procedures involved in releasing the money to the club has made it almost impossible for Rangers to get the money.  Thus board members now task themselves to ensure that the club gets money to compete in the Globacom Premier League.

“You will not believe this but we (board members) task ourselves financially to ensure that Rangers take part in the league. The governor has done a lot but the procedures for the release of funds is cumbersome”, the source said.

Despite the troubled times, the Flying Antelopes still believe thay can win the Glo Premier League. But with the current situation in the club, it would be a tall order for the coach Alphonsus Dike led side to achieve their set objective. Rangers are currently fourth on the Premier League table.
