Daily Times: Court reserves ruling for March 21

ABUJA — As the protracted litigation over the property of the Daily Times of Nigeria Plc rages, an Abuja High Court presided over by the Chief Judge, Justice Lawal Gumi, has reserved ruling till March 21, 2010 on a request by Senator Ikechukwu Obiora to quash the leave directing the Inspector-General of Police to investigate and prosecute him over allegation of issuing dud cheques to his business partners, Folio Communications.

Justice Gumi fixed the date after listening to submissions by lawyers to all the parties in the case.
Apart from the Inspector-General of Police, other respondents in the case are DSV Limited, Harslesden Engineering Limited and Corporate Ideals Properties Limited.
