Asset Declaration: Police ordered to arrest Ribadu
The Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) sitting in Abuja, yesterday, issued a bench warrant for the immediate arrest of the pioneer Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, for refusing to appear before it yesterday to answer to criminal allegations preferred against him by the federal government of Nigeria.

On its part, Police authorities swiftly came out with their defence alleging blackmail on the part of the receiver manager whom they noted, as a very senior member of the bar, resorted to “cheaply popularizing himself in a matter that is subjudiceâ€, noting that it was wrong to resort to self-help as in the instant case.
