DTHA endorses Uduaghan for 2nd term

Asaba—MEMBERS of the Delta State House of Assembly have endorsed the incumbent governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, for a second term, noting that his three-point agenda has impacted on the lives of the people.

The motion, which was moved by the member representing Bomadi constituency , Mr. Moro Reginald Donbraye,  under matters of urgent public importance and unanimously adopted, said “that this honourable House endorses the executive governor of Delta state, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, for a second term in office come 2011”.

Speaking with newsmen after the adoption of the motion, the mover of the motion, Donbraye said “the motion is for the best interest of PDP in Delta State.  Dr. Uduaghan has tried because Delta State is not easy to govern.

“If you look properly, the three-point agenda, human capital development, peace and security is working well.

“Deltans have enjoyed peace from inception of his administration to May 2009 when the men of JTF struck Gbaramatu and what happened there is not the governor’s fault.”
