Coach Amodu Shuaibu was in a no nonsense mood yesterday. He drilled the Eagles physically apparently preparing for a tough duel with the Tunisians and later concentrated on shooting. Each of the players took time to practise on free kicks, an area that Coach Amodu confessed that he dreads the Tunisians most.
The players coiled the balls but goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama was at his best thwarting the efforts of the players from hitting the net. But when Chelsea’s boy, Mikel Obi hit the ball over the bar, the fans reacted angrily with sporadic booing. But when supporters president, Rafiu Ladipo controlled a loose ball, the stadium went berserk asking him to join the Eagles. He waved to the crowd and this attracted another yelling.
