hat come with WiFi embedded features.
With theÂ new technology,Â users of Anabel smart phones that runs on windows mobile operating system by Microsoft can connect to Internet board band services anywhere across the nation.
The Wifi technlogy, according to Mr Nicholas Okoye, while unveiling the new product last week in Lagos,Â will enable Anabel phone users to pick up hot stops and wireless connections just like a PCÂ would, thereby allowing the user toÂ browse the web if it is an open network.
â€œThis puts the Anabel device on the leading edge of wireless technology and allows for a cheaper access to the internet for users.
â€œ By adding his application to its professional series Anabel has guaranteed that Professionals and students will not have to rely on the network provider for their internet connection.
â€œThis is coming at a time when most cities across the Nation are investing heavily in WiFi clouds which will allow their residents to connect to the internet from their homes or on the street accessing the WiFi cloud which has been set upâ€ Okoye, who is passionate about made-in-Nigeria products said.
According to him,Â Abuja and Enugu were the first to establish these WiFi clouds, adding thatÂ Lagos is also expected to deliver on its WiFi cloud in no distant future.
The new Anabel WiFi embedded devices, he explained,Â also have GPS making itÂ it easier for users to track themselves using Google Maps on the web while usingÂ their Anabel Mobile Device.

Meanwhile, sources close to the company disclosed that the Anabel Quaz is sleek in design and may resemble the I-phone in look and appeal.
It would be recalled that Anabel Mobile has been identified as one of the trail blazers in this direction having launched the first Nigerian mobile phone and first Nigerian hand held computer or Smart phone that runs on windows mobile operating system by Microsoft.
Anabel presently produces professional series smart phones which are indeed hand held computers, they also produce â€œdigital media devicesâ€ which can play video, music, FM Radio as well as its ability to record voice and other sounds.
It also has a yet to be released dual sim internet phone called â€œEffizzyâ€ which has dual sim and dual standby allowing a user to switch between networks while on a voice call.
