KANO – Colourful and intimidating posters of Muhammad Abacha, Eldest son of the late Head of State, Sani Abacha, flooded Kano streets, yesterday, lending credence to his preparation to publicly declare his party soon.
Muhammad Abacha had two months ago declared before journalists in Kano his intention to join partisan politics to enable him contribute his quota to the political development of the country.
Although the posters do not carry the emblem of any of the existing political parties in the country, it however contain a political message to Kano citizen on an auspicious occasion marking the end of Ramadan Fast by Muslim faithful.
The poster of Abacha son in a traditional gown associated with Hausa/ Fulani stock of Northern Nigeria bare the message ‘Barka Da Sallah’, meaning Happy Sallah.
Muhammad Abacha had over the last few months intensified effort at actualizing his dream of storming the country murky political terrain as he was linked with Bayero Isa Gano a PDP chairmanship candidate who lost to Farouk Iya during the recent congress election in Kano .
Muhammad Abacha had on the day of the PDP Congress election gave out his younger sister in a society wedding that attracted top Nigerian politicians and representative from the Presidency.
