Federation of    International Football Association (FIFA) Executive Committee member, Dr. Amos Adamu, and the Vice President of Nigeria Football Federation, Chief Amanze Uchegbulam, are among top Nigerian football administrators recently appointed into various committees of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).


Of the 20 committees, Nigeria has commanding positions in 17.Aside being CAF Executive Committee member, Dr. Amos Adamu is president of Committee for Ethics and Fair-Play, Vice President Organising Committee for Women’s Football, Organising Committee for the African FUTSAL Championship and the Football Committee. He is also a member of six other committees.

NFF Vice President, Uchegbulam, is the Vice President of CAF’s judicial committee — the Board of Appeal.
This is the first time a Nigerian will be holding the position.

NFF President, Alhaji Sani Abdulahi Lulu, is in the Organising Committee for Inter-Club Competitions alongside the General Secretary, Dr. Bolaji Ojo-Oba.

Other Nigerians in the CAF committees are Brigadier-General Dominic Oneya(rtd),Organising Committee for the African Nations Cup, Chief  Adegboye Onigbinde, Technical and Development Committee.Others are Aisha Falode, Media Committee and Mike Itemuagbor, Marketing Committee.
