LG opens showroom, launches new product

In a renewed determination   to ensure a stronger hold on the electronics market, Live is Good (LG) Electronics has opened a new showroom in Ikoyi, Lagos, even as it launches new product.

The new showroom the management said is to make all product categories of LG available in Ikoyi and its environs.
The newly launched product, apart from its slimmer design, is christened Scarlet LH70, comes with bluetooth, a compatible LCD Television.

Mr. B.W. Park, Managing Director, LG Electronics West Africa Operations at the commissioning ceremony, said,  “what we have done here, which is similar to others in parts of Lagos and Nigeria, is to bring our range of  products to the doorsteps of our esteemed consumers.

“We are excited that from today onward, our consumers in Ikoyi need not worry any more about distance when they think of LG products. This showroom is designed to create convenience and great shopping experience for consumers.”

Park noted that LG is consistently pushing to maintain its leadership position in the electronics market and “we have realised that we can not win the race for market leadership without involving our consumers. Everything we do, revolve around our consumers; they are our inspiration.”

Mr. Mohammed Fouani, Managing Director, Fouani Nigeria Limited, LG’s distributor of LG products in Nigeria said, “LG is offering to consumers in this part of Lagos unlimited possibility of good life with unique costumer experience through the exquisite world of LG products that will continually be on display in this showroom.”

It was noted that it was important for LG Electronics to align its brand values with the aspirations of the people hence it has taken measures to put the consumers ahead in its business expansion plans. It was also added that more dealer outlets and showrooms would come on stream as LG Electronics evolves more innovative ways of making its products readily available.

“Consumers are assured of genuine LG products through this outlet and every purchase is backed up with a one year warranty. The showroom is expected to foster a deeper and more meaningful connection between members of the communities around the location of the showroom and LG Electronics,” Fouani added.

The location of LG dealer outlets in different parts of Lagos and indeed other parts of Nigeria is an ongoing business strategy which according to the company representative is largely driven by demand and the company’s commitment to bringing LG products close enough to every Nigerian.

At the lauch of the new tevlvision, Mr. Dave Shin, General Manager, Home Entertainment Division, LG West Africa Operations, said the new product re-enforces LG’s position as a market leader in display products.

He noted that scarlet  is the first TV with a bluetooth function,  that alone, he said, speaks volume of the length the company go to ensure its consumers gets the  best in their products.
