Elechi must not return to office – Egwu’s wife

 By PETER OKUTU

ABAKALIKI-Wife of former governor of Ebonyi State, Mrs. Eunice Egwu, stated weekend that Governor Martin Elechi must not return to office to continue the mayhem he had inflicted on relevant institutions in the state.

She lamented that the present administration in the state was not worthy of another term, considering its role in the eventual collapse of Ebonyi State University Teaching Hospital, EBSUTH, Ebonyi State University, EBSU, Ebonyi State Fertilizer Blending Plant and Ebonyi State Hatchery Company, among others.

Mrs. Egwu, who made this known in a get-together organized by the governorship candidate of All Nigeria Peoples Party, ANPP, Senator Julius Ali Ucha, in Abakaliki, noted that her greatest pain revolved around the collapse of EBSUTH which once had five former vice chancellors of reputable institutions of learning as consultants before they all left in search of greener pastures elsewhere.
