Ahead of the 2019 general elections, Plateau chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) announced on Tuesday that it had zoned the ticket for the Plateau governorship contest to the southern senatorial zone.

FORMER Deputy State Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Edo State, Mr. Clement Edo-Osagie, has described as disgusting and shameful, the attack on Senator Matthew Urhoghide at the Benin Airport by suspected youths of All Progressives Congress, APC,  simply because he moved a motion on the floor of the Senate questioning the President’s disbursement of funds without recourse to the National Assembly.

BENIN – FORMER Deputy State chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State, Mr. Clement Edo – Osagie has described the attack on Senator Matthew Urhoghide at the Benin Airport by youths of the All Progressives Congress (APC) simply because he moved a motion on the floor of the Senate questioning his disbursment of fund without recurse to the National Assembly, as disgusting and shameful.

All Progressives Congress, APC, in Edo State, weekend, alleged that a serving senator (name withheld) and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, imported militants to the Benin Airport last Friday with the aim of assassinating the governor of the state, Mr Godwin Obaseki.

Some politicians in Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, who defected from Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to All Progressives Congress, APC, at the wake of the inauguration of the APC-led Federal Government in 2015, have returned, with regrets over their decision to leave PDP for APC.
