Following the intense and sustained bombardment of Boko Haram hideouts and enclaves as well as foiling of logistics supply activities by troops of Operation Lafiya Dole in the North East, 68 members of the terrorist group have surrendered to troops in the last three weeks.

Boko Haram jihadists killed six men in a village in northeast Nigeria on Tuesday in what appeared to be a targeted reprisal attack, a militia fighting the group told AFP.
