Abia 2015: Ikpeazu is the man
I have watched the ongoing political battle in Abia State with some reservations. I have not openly adopted any Candidate up till now, principally because, I deemed it necessary to study all the dynamics and make an informed choice. I have refrained from joining the bandwagon and condemning a man just because others are condemning him. All factors considered, especially meritocracy and fairness, I believe Okezie Ikpeazu stands a shoulder taller than all Candidates.
Igbo in Lagos: Ire oma eju ji ga n’ogwu
Many are the fulminations arising from the unfortunate outburst of the respected Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu. This was an intemperate, in-your-face assault. Many Igbo and non-Igbos alike are up in arms. Adamawa’s clear options
THE choices between the people of Adamawa state in the April 11 gubernatorial election are as clear as they are extremes. The contest which in reality is between four contenders, is at the same time a two-way game between what is right and its opposite. The four frontline candidates are Mohammed Jibrilla Bindow of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Modibbo of the Peoples Democratic Movement (PDM), Engr. Marcus Gundiri of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and, of course, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). To any fair mind, the ideal choice, from the roll call above, is very clear.
