There are some lessons to go round for comrades and activists who drop their convictions and take up the megaphone of oppression once they are invited to “eat at the table of the oppressors”

THE desire of all parents is to give their children the best in life: the best upbringing, education, exposure, life experiences, and so on. Of these, however, perhaps the greatest legacy a parent can bequeath to a child is sound and qualitative education. Education gives a child a sound footing in life, which explains why as parents we continue to seek out the best education opportunities for our children worldwide. From neighbouring Benin Republic, South Africa to far away Japan, Australia, and even Iceland, Nigerians pay billions of dollars to ensure their children are properly educated.

On two fronts, I would like to open my assessment of the state of the Church and the oppressed in Nigeria with a brotherly gesture at Mr. Festus Keyamo, his award of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) after eight attempts, and his latest appointment as the spokesman for the re-election bid of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The debt profile of a state must be measured against its Gross Domestic Product (GDP) value. GDP is a broad measurement of the state overall economic activity. It is the total value of goods and services produced by an entity in a given period of time, usually annually and quarterly.

If there were ever a man that were worthy of celebration in the context of Nigerian history, power and politics that man is Baba Ayo Adebanjo.
