It is no longer news that Benin City is one of the richest in cultural heritage all over the world. Most of these cultures were preserved till date of which the National Museum plays a very prominent role.

Pianist Babatunde Sosan made an indelible impression at his piano recital “Romantic Classics” held last weekend at the Muson Centre. In an attempt to relive the memories of his mentor and instructor Raymond Banning who passed away last year, Sosan displayed an impeccable artistry with the white and black keys of the piano. Playing pieces from Schumann, Chopin, Debussy, Rachmaninoff and other celebrated romantic composers, Sosan proved his keyboard prowess to his audience.

Mr Sunday Ehindero is former inspector general of police. A lawyer by profession, he has been in private legal practice since his retirement in 2007. An author of several law books, Ehindero holds the record of being the police lawyer to appear before the high court, Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court.

The Agip recital Hall of the Muson centre Lagos, weekend was full to the brim with an enthusiastic crowd who defied the heavy downpour to feel the thrill of stage action as young actors and actresses from the Atlantic Hall Drama Club, performed Agho Obaseki, a play written by Don Pedro Obaseki. The play was produced by the Atlantic Hall Drama Club, and directed by veteran stage director, Gboyega Gbiletan Jerome.
