Emirates Group Security signs MoU with Arab Air on varsity diploma programmes
The academic arm of Emirates Group Security, Centre of Aviation & Security Studies (CASS), and Arab Air Carriers Organisation Regional Training Centre (AACO RTC), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to extend two University Diploma programmes to members of the Arab Air Carriers Organisation (AACO). The programmes, Diploma in Aviation Security Management and Diploma in Ground Handling, are being inducted as part of AACO RTC’s training curriculum with its offices in Jordan and Egypt, and are jointly developed by Edith Cowan University of Western Australia and Emirates Group Security.
Red Cross donates furniture to schools
Nigeria Red Cross Society, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Division, Ogun State has donated 200 chairs and lockers worth millions of naira to Ansar-Ud Deen Practising School, Ota and Local Government School III, Sango-Ota in Ogun state. Chairman of the society, Ogun State branch, Comrade Yinka Fashina who said the donation was an accomplishment of a long time vision to positively affect peoples’ lives, enjoined various stakeholders in the country to contribute towards improving the standard of education in the country and also to guarantee the future of the Nigerian youths.
PZ Chemistry winners on facility tours
In fulfilment of part of its commitment to nurture students’ interest in industrial chemistry, PZ Cussons Nigeria has organised facility tours for winners of the second edition of the PZ Cussons Chemistry Challenge, PZCCC, at its factories at Ilupeju and Ikorodu.
USAID, Osun Poly partner in agriculture
The United States Agency for International Development, USAID, and Osun State Polytechnic, Iree have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to commence training, teaching and research programmes in the state polytechnic with the establishment of Faculty of Agricultural Science and Engineering in the institution. A statement by the Media Relations Officer of the Institution, Mr. Tope Abiola, disclosed that all machineries have been put in place by the institution to commence full academic programmes in Agricultural Science and Engineering.
