Nice Dreams adopts precast system for Havillah Gardens

A LAGOS-BASED private developer, Messrs Nice Dreams Properties Limited, has adopted the use of precast system of construction in the execution of its Havillah Gardens and Fresh Dew Courts. Havillah Gardens is located at kilometre 10 along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway while Fresh Dew Courts is at Agbara in Ogun State. Disclosing this development to property writers last week, the managing director of the company, Arc Richard Uwagie explained that his company is partnering a Chinese company to use the precast system to deliver a total of 1000 housing units.

Obi tasks contractor on Onitsha Head bridge

ANAMBRA State Governor, Mr.Peter Obi has directed the Consolidated Construction Company (CCC), the firm handling the road from Onitsha Head Bridge to the Zik’s Round About to immediately mobilise to site and start work. The Governor said this last week while inspecting the road at the Head bridge axis with some officials from the CCC and the State Ministry of Works led by the Commissioner, Arc. Callistus Ilozumba.

Developers want Lagos to simplify approval process •We have simplified it — Housing Commissioner

PRIVATE developers who have been going through the needle’s eye to get their building plans and other documentation approved by the Lagos State Ministry of Physical Planning & Urban Development, have appealed to the State Government to simplify the process to make it less stressful. The developers noted that despite recent measures adopted by the Ministry to make approvals faster, the process is still too sluggish because some of the demands are uncalled for.
