How dreamers can become doers

DMO to raise N80.2bn worth of bonds on June 17
The Debt Management Office (DMO) says it will raise N80.22billion worth of bonds in three categories on June 17. According to the DMO, in its ‘Bond Circular’ issued on Wednesday, the categories of bonds will include a 20, 10 and five-year bonds. It said that the 20-year bond would attract N40 billion, N15.22 billion for 10-year bond and N25 billion worth for the five-year bond.
NEPC chief seeks spedy approval of grants for exports
A Director in Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) Mr Olajide Ibrahim, has appealed to the new administration to urgently approve the Pre-Shipment and Export Expansion Grant (EEG) to non-oil exporters. The grant was suspended early in 2015 for review.

Shareholders okay Mainstreet Bank take-over by Skye Bank
Shareholders of Skye Bank Plc have unanimously endorsed the acquisition of Mainstreet Bank Limited at the court ordered extra ordinary general meeting held immediately after the bank’s 9th Annual General Meeting held in Lagos. During the consideration of the bank’s proposed scheme of external restructuring which deals with the acquisition and how to consolidate the operations of both banks, the Chairman of the bank, Mr. Tunde Ayeni, disclosed that the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), had given its clearance to the scheme.
