Finally the ghost of the controversial 2004 edition of the star studded Nigerian Breweries PLC sponsored Star Mega Jams concerts was put to rest Sunday, at the La Cachette Restaurant venue of the album launch of the musical group, The Pulse.

It was fun galore last Sunday when The Pulse, the 2009 Star Quest winner, of the Star lager sponsored music talent hunt show launched their debut album.

That which she declined to divulge in an interview she granted this writer has been brought to the open. MTV’s Nigerian VJ, Cynthia Okpala is now officially engaged to good-looking hubby….

It took him nearly four years to debut with an album even though his talents were obvious and the crowd craved endlessly for him. About eight months down that release, GT is still yet to find a place in the market and he’s confronted with the decision that will ultimately create a music future for him or nullify the progress he’s made so far. ‘Do I leave? Or do I stay?’; that is the dilemma.

Well I’ve been here and everywhere (laughter). I’m still at MTv. I’ve added a couple more responsibilities. I co-host the MTN Y’hello Top 10 countdown on radio with Deji. It used to be hosted by Olisa. Its syndicated on 40 radio stations across Nigeria. And then I’m also on the Mnet series, Tinsel.
