A few years after their successful launch of female artiste Nikki Laoye, who has since her debut bagged numerous award nominations, Wahala Media Entertainment has signed on A1 a.k.a. Sugar Boy, alongside his CEO/Producer, Desiimurl Desekere of RunDaTrax Nigeria.

Akan_Imoh Felix Umoren, also known as A1, created quite a stir on his debut collabo with Mode 9 on the hit song “BadMan.”

The song on its release raced to the top of the charts and soon enough got Mode 9, the “Lyricist on the Roll” award for the umpteenth time at this year’s hip hop World Awards.

Now A1 wants a bit of the spotlight on him with the release of “Swaggerman Dope,” his own full version of the badman stint, which is simply an electrifying introduction to his blend of R&B and ragga flow.

And just like the musical duo of Timbaland & Missy Elliott; Dark Child & Brandy; Don Jazzy & Dbanj, A1 gets his magical touch from his longtime producer/CEO, Desiimurl.

A collection of brand-new singles from A1’s debut album, has been released and is currently enjoying massive radio airplay nationwide.
