Trade union members protest in Togo
Members of the Trade Union in Togo, on May Day, marked the Workers’ Day celebration by launching a massive protest against what they described as the alleged anti labour policies of President Faure Gnassingbe, causing some invited government politicians to vacate the venue of the celebration in fright.
Video shows the displeased members of the union, all appearing on black, chanting solidarity songs as well as booing the politicians as they scamper to leave the venue in Lome.
