Lagos—FORMER chairman of the Action Congress of Nigeria, United Kingdom chapter, ACN-UK, Chief Ibrahim Emokpaire will soon formally declare his intention to vie for the post of the national chairmanship position of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
According to a statement by his media assistant, Ibrahim Sule, the Edo-born politician has ”decided to serve in order to reposition the All Progressives Congress, APC for growth, peace and unity, nationwide.”
While describing Emokpaire as a true party man that believes in the supremacy of the party, he urged APC supporters all over Nigeria to support his (Emokpaire’s) aspirations.
“Emokpaire would uplift APC to be identified as a political party with a sound ideology; establish an institute for political development, where opportunities are given to APC members to excel. He would work tenaciously with the party leadership to maintain discipline, peace within the party and he willwork hard to ensure victory of our great party at all elections,” he said.
Sule said Emokpaire has the zeal and energy to run the party and would invigorate the party structure in tune with the 21st century, adding that he would “foster gender affirmation for the engagement of more women in decision making process.”
