Clark’s son joins race for House of Reps

WARRI — PAINED by what he said was the underdevelopment of his constituency, Mr. Ebikeme Clark, son of South-South leader, Chief Edwin Clark, has joined the race for Burutu Federal Constituency to run for the Federal House of Representatives come 2011, promising to  make a drastic change.

Clark made his declaration,  yesterday, when he paid a courtesy call on Monarchs of Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State at the Pere of Ogulagha Kingdom’s Palace in Warri.

Addressing the Royal Fathers, Clark said, “my mission here is to seek support and blessings of the royal fathers.

The main problem in Burutu is underdevelopment. No electricity, no road and no bridge to link Burutu to major towns such as Warri. These are the things I wish to do. I wish to be given a chance to represent my people to bring development to the rural areas in Burutu. I have come here to ask for your support.”
