ASABA—Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Warri South-West Local Government Area, Delta State, Mr Johnbull Edema, has assured all aspirants to Delta State House of Assembly, Warri South-West constituency, of free and fair primaries.

Edema gave the assurance when an aspirant for the Delta State House of Assembly in the constituency for the 2019 general election, Mr Andrew Igban and his supporters visited the PDP council executive to announce his intention to run for the election.

The council party chairman who described PDP as one big family, said: “The conduct of free, fair and credible primaries will promote sustainable peace in the party and increase its chances for victory in the general elections.”

He commended Igban, a former  PDP youth leader in Delta South for his commitments to the growth of the party, particularly in Warri South-West and wished him well in his aspiration, even as he charged him to go about it peacefully.
