Lagos based youths forum, the Hundred Percent Leader (HPL), has received a financial boost from Leadway Assurance Plc, Nutricima and other corporate organisations and individuals towards its third edition of youth forum being organised to empower Nigerian youths to see themselves as potential leaders of tomorrow.
In a statement signed by the Team Leader, Mr. Oluwaseun Sobo, said that this year’s Hundred Percent Leader, which has been slated for August 28, 2010, will focus on character development which will be facilitated by prominent Nigerians who have excel in their various field and profession.
“Already we have Tonye Cole, Executive Director, Sahara Group, Detoun Ogwo, Executive Director, AGDC Employability& Development Center and OC Ukeje, Nollywood star and Amstel Malta Box Officer (AMBO) Two winner, who have signified their intentions to be part of this year edition†he Sobo said,
“We have realized from our research that lack of character development is the major reason for incompetent leadership, this has been discovered as the root of an optimistic value system, therefore we are using this platform to prepare Nigerian youths for tomorrowâ€
He also expressed appreciation to corporate organization like Leadway Assurance and Nutricima for their support to this year forum adding that, “Hundred Percent Leader Forum is a worthy cause which is aimed at developing leaders and legacy builders that will promote national transformation, therefore, every responsible organization in Nigeria should be part of thisâ€
