FIFA snd CAF Technical instructor, Chief Adegboye Onigbinde believes that power should come from the grassroots in the administration of football in the country.
Taking time off his schedule to bare his mind on the ideal type of football administration for Nigeria, Chief Onigbinde one of the aspirants to the Executive Committee of the Nigeria Football Association in the August 21 elections said, “If we have to do it right, power must come from the grassroots.
“Power should come from the grassroots. The State FA members ought to be elected by the local government football council officials.
If it is done this way, the State FA chairmen would in turn be delegates to the NFA General Assembly, and not the other way roundâ€, Chief Adegboye Onigbinde said.He stated that it was a hard fought battle to get his nomination endorsed by the Osun State FA.
