HANDBALL Federation of Nigeria (HFN) has concluded plans for a one day coaches and referees seminar, which has been scheduled for July 31 in Minna, the Niger state Capital.
With 2010 Handball Rules and Regulations in focus, states are required to send their technical coaches and referees and other technical officials to attend the seminar en-mass in order to benefit from the rich knowledge of the experts that would conduct the seminar.
HFN secretary-general, Olusola Luke who disclosed this in Lagos said the skill acquisition seminar is very important and mandatory to all states since all the Handball rules that will be applied at the forthcoming National Sports Festival in Port Harcourt River State would be revealed.
“It will serve as a big study case for the forthcoming National Sports Festival holding in Port Harcourt River State in December “, Olusola added.
He also informed that feeding, accommodations and transportation to and fro for the participants would be the responsibility of the states.
