Ifiekporo: Our leadership has royal backing – Nikoro

WARRI—EMBATTLED Public Relations Officer of Ifiekporo Community in Warri South Local Government Area, Delta State, Mr. Patrick  Nikoro, has said that the Charles Omadeli-led Trust has the backing of the royal father in Warri.

He also refuted reports that they invaded the community and burnt houses and other valuables.

The embattled image-maker, who was only recently conferred with Youth Ambassador for Peace award by Universal Peace Federation and Youth Federation for World Peace, challenged those parading themselves as leaders of the community to counter the royal position, which gave authority to the Omadeli-led Trust, instead of accusing them of wanting to burn down the community.

Mr. Nikoro alleged that top politicians, who bought land illegally from the other faction were the ones instigating the crisis, having realised the true position of things.

He said that Pa. Ogoru Nikoro “is the duly recognised Olare-Aja of Ifiekporo by the said royal father, while Endurance Bomele is the authentic youth chairman following the resignation of Gbubemi Mone and not the names being paraded by strange elements in the community.”

Adding that the other faction had stopped them from accessing their community, Mr. Nikoro warned that those buying land from unauthorised people in the community were “doing so at their own risk.”
