The Northern political leaders forum has decided to remain in the PDP and have a northerner  installed as president  in 2011.
The forum which has set up three committees to achieve its objective-planning/strategy, contact/mobilisation and publicity – agreed that none of its members would  be intimidated out of the party but would rather stay and demand what belongs to that part of the country.

Sunday Vanguard gathered that the forum is to embark on the mobilisation of northerners using town hall meetings as a tool.
The meetings are to educate the people on the “struggle” for the retention of zoning and why the North deserves to have the presidency in 2011.

The meetings are to be held in the three geo-political zones in the North: North West, North Central and North East.
