UGHELLI — OKPE Scholars Association has commended the Delta State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, for approving the establishment of a Polytechnic in Sapele.
The association in a statement by its President, Chief William Avwigborighe and Secretary Engr. Lucky Oghomirionamade, yesterday, said that the new Polytechnic would boost the educational standard of the people of the area.
The association said, “we sincerely thank Governor Uduaghan for his monumental achievement by establishing the much needed Polytechnic in Sapele. We appreciate the Governor’s magnanimity because successive governments have neglected the clarion call made by the people of Sapele for the establishment of a Polytechnic for them. Okpe Scholars have always believed that Governor Uduaghan is a divine leader, who has a listening ears.â€
“Governor Uduaghan’s previous performance in addition to his current great feats explains that there is no one that could have done better than him.
At last, Sapele has been remembered by a detribalized leader, who is always ready to bring the dividends of democracy to the people,†the association added.
