The new President General Ibruvwe Development Union, IDU, Mr. Wilson Kokarhaye has assured the people of the community of effective representation.
Kokarhaye who spoke shortly after he was sworn-in along other members of his executive to pilot the affairs of IDU for the next two years, said he would work in harmony with government and development agencies to attract developmental projects to the area.
“l use this medium to solicit for your support adding that a tree cannot make a forest, calling on youths of the community to shun any act of violence and remain law abiding citizens at all times”.
Others who were sworn-in are: Omakpokpo-Ose Efe, (Vice PG), David Ikumariegbe (Sec. Gen), Mr. Adeku Erhioyovwe (Fin. Sec.), Chief Lucky Udjemu (PRO), Atunucha Aaron (Assist. PRO), and others.
They were sworn-in by the eldest man of the community, Pa Richard Unurhirere. He told the new executive to be united, saying “you are to love one another, be truthful at all times and make sure that the interest and development of IDU remain the topmost priority of you people for the development of the union”.
