WARRI—DELTA State Special Project Director for the dualisation of the Asaba-Ughelli Road project, Mr. Sunny Onuesoke,  has condemned the call by the Urhobo caucus of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Delta State chapter, to adopt former Secretary to the State Government, Chief Ovie Omo-Agege, as their preferred gubernatorial candidate for the 2011 elections, saying that those who adopted him were too insignificant in the party leadership in Urhoboland to take such decision.

Mr. Onuesoke, a PDP governorship aspirant in the 2007 elections, said that the key leaders of the party in Delta Central Senatorial district were not a party to that decision, expressing disappointment over the non-refutal of the adoption claim by the leadership of the party led by Chief Tom Amioku.
He said such silence could be taken as consent and that it was not to the benefit of the larger Urhobo interest.

Onuesoke  made these remarks at Oghara during the official inauguration of the Delta State University Teaching Hospital, DSUTH, by President Goodluck Jonathan, weekend.

According to him, Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan should be given all the needed support to continue with his good works. He charge all well meaning Deltans to work towards ensuring the return of the Governor  to enable him consolidate on his numerous developmental and empowerment projects scattered across the state.

He commended Governor Uduaghan for  faithfully completing the mega hospital project design to ensure first class medical care for all Deltans and indeed Nigerians as the DSUTH is second to none in government medical centres throughout the country.

He charged him not to abandon any project of his predecessor in office, Chief James Ibori because it would amount to colossal waste of tax payers money.
