Orubebe asked to forget gubernatorial ambition

By  Simon Adewale
Chairman of Izon Okosu-Otu, Chief Bare Etolor, has urged Chief Godsday Orubebe not to contest for the governorship race in Delta State come 2011.

Rather, those drafting the Niger Delta Affairs Minister, Chief Godsday Orubebe to the governorship race of Delta State at this time forget that he has the opportunity of empowering personalities in the entire Ijaw nation and the Niger Delta region.

In a press statement, Chief Etolor, added that by quitting the ministry and hurriedly contesting the governorship of Delta State where success is not even guaranteed, mean that Orubebe is throwing away golden opportunity of building a towering and selfless personality.

This he maintained could set him apart as a national leader and place him in better stead for future elections in the country.
