Ahead of the 2011 general elections, the Anioma National Council, ANC,  weekend, declared its  support for the government of Dr. Goodluck Jonathan. They urged him to ensure credible electoral reforms, fight corruption to a standstill as well as improve on power supply.

The organisation also declared its intention to ensure that it produces the next governor in Delta State. Secretary General of the council, Chief Terry Otuya, in a statement, vowed that the council will use every legal means including mass protests to ensure that Anioma produces the next Governor in the state.

While expressing its support for the one man one vote campaign, ANC insisted that Nigerians must say ‘No’ to election rigging, come 2011.
