Three eminent Nigerians have been honoured by Keisie International University, KIU, South Korea.

The awardees are Oba Lamidi Adeyemi 111, the Alaafin of Oyo;  Dr. Kesington Adebutu, and Chief Kenny Martins.

In his address at the occasion, the Alaafin described  education as the best legacy in life and warned that no nation could  develop without developing her educational potentials.

Adeyemi, while speaking  at the maiden convocation ceremony of KIU, lauded the  relationship established through the signing of Memorandum of Understanding and affiliation for cross recognition with the Institute of Company and Commercial Accounts of Nigeria. He noted  that KIU, Nigeria  had secured 50 to 100 hectares of land between Oyo, Iseyin and Okeho as demanded by the NUC  for the establishment of the university.

On his part,  Adebutu, a man of rare humanitarian pedigree, said the honour on  him was a call to service, adding that a human being that is educated is healthy.
