Owerri—The Imo State House of Assembly Committee on Information, yesterday, said it had not received a copy of the controversial media bill.

Speaking to Vanguard, Chairman of the committee, Mr. Kennedy Ibeh, denied that the committee was planning to redefine, repackage and reintroduce the bill to the floor of the House.

He said: “As I speak, I have asked the clerk of the House to send me a copy of the bill. I am yet to receive a copy of the bill. We are yet to receive a copy of the bill.”
