THE Bauchi State government has said it will revive its fertiliser blending company to boost farming in the state and beyond.
Speaking during a tour of the company yesterday, the newly-appointed chairman of the company, Bappah Musa, promised to revive it and make it profitable.
He lamented that despite the huge amount spent by previous governments, machinery and raw materials were allowed to waste away for over seven years.
According to him, “when fully functional, the company will provide jobs for about 500. The Governor Mohammed Abubakar-led administration, due to its commitment to key into President Muhammadu Buhari’s agric revival effort, is focused on ways to develop the sector in Bauchi State.”
