OLEH—A group, Urhobo Awareness Youth Association, UAYA, has advised the Urhobo nation to rally round former governor of Delta State, Chief James Ibori, so as to bounce back into the mainstream of Nigeria’s politics.

The group, in a statement by its National Leader,  Kenneth Uvwo, expressed optimism that Ibori’s return to the country would pave the way for political breakthrough for the Urhobo nation in 2019.

Noting that Ibori meant well and brought the Urhobo nation to political limelight when he was the governor of the state, the group said that Ibori’s good works and empowerment policies had touched several lives positively within and outside the state.

The statement warned those who are using the media to disseminate wrong information about Ibori to desist from it, reiterating that the former governor had brought succour to the people without tribal discrimination.
