I remain Minority Leader of Rivers Assembly —Anabraba

By Jimitota Onoyume

PORT HARCOURT—MR Benebo Anabraba has said he remained the Minority Leader of Rivers State House of Assembly, insisting that his expulsion by his party, All Progressives Congress, APC, has not displaced him.

The lawmaker, who expressed surprise with the decision of his party, said he was still a member of the APC, adding that he did not snub invitations by his party as alleged.

It will be recalled that the leadership of the party Monday announced Anabraba’s expulsion from the party over allegations of anti-party activities.

Chairman of the party in the state, Dr Davies Ikanya, had in a signed letter released to the media  on Monday, accused the lawmaker of anti-party activities and disobedience to the party.

Trouble started for Anabraba when he contested and won the Minority leadership seat of his party in the House of Assembly.
